FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
"Who is Schofield's Sirens?"
Schofield's Sirens is a creative production company founded and directed by Josh Schofield, a 31-year-old Creative Director and internationally published photographer based in Canada.
Built around the idea that every production should be more than just a photoshoot, Schofield's Sirens combines photography, creative direction, brand storytelling, commercial production, and community into an experience designed to help women create meaningful, high-quality content.
Since its launch in 2021, the Sirens brand has continued to evolve into a creative collective focused on empowering women through exceptional production value, long-term relationships, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
"Who is Josh Schofield?"
Josh is an internationally published photographer, creative director, and producer with more than 16 years of experience in creative industries spanning:
Brand Marketing
Commercial Advertising
Photography & Videography
Creative Direction
Influencer Relations
Model Casting
Content Production
Event Production
Publication Development
Creative Campaigns
Throughout his career, Josh has worked with brands, creators, athletes, models, performers, and businesses to transform ideas into polished visual campaigns and high-impact content.
His philosophy has always been simple:
Create work that people are proud to share.
We all win, together.
"Why was Schofield's Sirens created?"
Schofield's Sirens was founded in 2021 with one vision:
To combine everything learned from years of working in photography, commercial advertising, marketing, influencer relations, production, and model casting into one creative community.
Rather than offering traditional photoshoots, Sirens was designed to become a place where women could build confidence, create incredible content, grow their personal brands, participate in unique creative experiences, and form long-lasting professional relationships.
The goal has never been simply to take beautiful photographs.
The goal is to create opportunities.
"Why do you focus on long-term relationships?"
We believe the best work happens when trust has already been established.
Many of our members return month after month because every shoot builds upon the last. As we get to know your personality, creative style, goals, and brand, we can produce content that becomes increasingly personalized and impactful.
Rather than constantly searching for new photographers, locations, or creative teams, our members become part of an ongoing creative partnership that grows over time.
That consistency often leads to stronger portfolios, better publications, larger campaigns, and more meaningful creative opportunities.
"What makes Schofield's Sirens different?"
Photography is only one part of what we do.
Schofield's Sirens brings together photography, videography, creative direction, commercial production, branding, publications, model casting, events, merchandise, community building, and strategic content creation under one brand.
Whether you're a cosplayer, fitness competitor, creator, entrepreneur, model, performer, or someone simply looking to celebrate your confidence, our focus is on producing content with purpose.
Every production is approached with the same question:
"How can this shoot help move you closer to your goals?"
That mindset has shaped the Sirens community from day one and continues to guide every production we create.
"What does 'We All Win Together' mean?"
We All Win Together is the foundation of Schofield's Sirens.
It means we believe the strongest creative work happens when everyone involved is respected, supported, and given room to succeed. Models, creators, photographers, makeup artists, brands, collaborators, and production partners all bring something valuable to the table.
When the work succeeds, everyone connected to it should feel proud of what was created.
"Why is collaboration so important to Schofield's Sirens?"
Schofield's Sirens was built on creative collaboration.
We do not believe in treating models or creators as props in someone else's vision. We believe in working with people to understand their goals, ideas, comfort levels, brand direction, and long-term ambitions.
Sometimes we bring the concept. Sometimes the model brings the spark. Often, the best results happen somewhere in the middle, where shared ideas turn into something stronger than either side could have built alone.
"How do models and creators benefit?"
Our goal is to create content that models and creators can actually use.
That may mean portfolio images, social media content, subscription-platform material, magazine submissions, brand assets, merchandise, calendars, prints, or personal branding content.
Every production is designed with purpose. We want the people we work with to leave with more than beautiful images. We want them to leave with assets, confidence, opportunities, and creative momentum.
"How do brands benefit?"
Brands benefit by working with a creative production team that understands photography, casting, visual storytelling, influencer relations, and campaign development.
Rather than simply placing a product in a photo, we aim to create content that feels intentional, polished, and aligned with the brand's audience.
By connecting brands with models, creators, and productions that naturally fit the campaign, we help create stronger content and more authentic relationships.
"How does Schofield's Sirens benefit?"
We grow when the people we work with grow.
Every successful shoot, publication, campaign, event, print release, and collaboration helps strengthen the Sirens community. When models post proudly, brands return, creators earn more, and collaborators feel valued, the entire ecosystem becomes stronger.
That is the point.
This is not a one-sided production machine. It is a creative tidepool where everyone brings energy, and everyone has the chance to rise with it.
"What kind of relationships do you want to build?"
We value long-term, healthy, professional relationships built on trust, respect, communication, and mutual benefit.
The best work rarely comes from one rushed shoot with no connection. It comes from understanding someone's goals, learning what makes them feel confident, and creating work that evolves over time.
Whether someone joins us once or becomes part of the Sirens community long-term, we want every person to feel respected, seen, and supported throughout the process.
"Why does this philosophy matter?"
Because creative work is personal.
People are trusting us with their image, body, ideas, brand, business, and confidence. That deserves care. Brands are trusting us with their products, reputation, campaigns, and audience. That deserves precision.
We All Win Together means we take that trust seriously.
It means we create with intention, protect the people involved, respect the work, and build opportunities where everyone has something to gain.
"Are you a modelling agency, talent agency, or content management company?"
No.
Schofield's Sirens is first and foremost a creative production company.
Our primary focus is producing high-quality photography, video content, publications, events, campaigns, creative experiences, brand partnerships, and commercial productions. While we regularly work with models, creators, influencers, performers, athletes, and brand ambassadors, we do not operate as a traditional modelling agency, talent agency, or content management company.
We do not guarantee bookings, sponsorships, representation, employment, or ongoing work opportunities.
"Do you cast models for projects?"
Yes.
As a production company, we frequently cast women for our own productions, publications, brand campaigns, events, calendars, merchandise collections, promotional materials, and collaborations with our partners.
Members of the Sirens community often receive priority consideration when opportunities become available, but casting decisions are ultimately based on the specific needs of each project.
Factors may include:
Overall look and aesthetic
Brand fit
Experience level
Availability
Professionalism
Creative direction
Client requirements
"Do you ever work with management agencies or content managers?"
Absolutely.
While Schofield's Sirens is not a management company, we regularly work alongside talent managers, modelling agencies, creator managers, assistants, and content management teams to coordinate content production and creative experiences.
Many creators use our Sirens Memberships and content days as part of their larger content strategy. In these situations, we collaborate with management teams to schedule productions, align content goals, coordinate campaigns, and create content that supports the creator's brand and business objectives.
Our role is to provide the production, creative direction, photography, videography, and content creation environment, while management teams remain responsible for the creator's overall business operations, partnerships, scheduling, and growth strategy.
"Do you ever manage talent?"
Occasionally, but only in a limited production capacity.
There may be situations where Schofield's Sirens coordinates talent, scheduling, logistics, and creative direction for specific projects or campaigns. Examples may include:
Boxing ring card and promotional models
Trade show and event appearances
Product placement campaigns
Sponsored content productions
Brand ambassador activations
Publication projects
Collaborative commercial productions
In these situations, we are acting as a production partner or project coordinator rather than a formal talent manager or agency representative.
"Can Schofield's Sirens help me grow my brand?"
Absolutely.
While we are not a management company, many of our services are designed to help creators, models, athletes, performers, and entrepreneurs build stronger personal brands through professional content creation, publications, campaigns, networking opportunities, and creative collaborations.
Our goal is to create the assets and opportunities that help people grow. What you do with those opportunities is ultimately up to you.
Think of us as a production company that creates opportunities, not an agency that controls your career.

BOOKINGS,
AGREEMENTS & POLICIES
Why do I need to sign an agreement?
Our agreements exist to protect everyone involved in the production.
Photography productions often involve studio rentals, hair and makeup artists, models, assistants, travel, editing time, content licensing, and creative planning. Clear agreements help establish expectations regarding payments, deliverables, image usage rights, privacy, cancellations, deadlines, and publication permissions.
Our goal is not to create unnecessary paperwork. Our goal is to ensure that every client, model, and creative partner understands exactly what is included and what they can expect throughout the experience.
Why are your agreements so detailed?
Over the years, we have worked with a wide variety of clients, models, brands, publications, and creative projects.
Our agreements have been developed to answer common questions before they become problems. They create transparency, protect creative work, clarify expectations, and help ensure a smooth experience from booking through final delivery.
Most questions clients have are already answered within the agreement, making the entire process more efficient for everyone involved.
Can I post my images online?
Yes.
You may share final edited images on social media, websites, portfolios, creator platforms, and other approved channels.
We ask that images not be altered with filters, AI editing tools, FaceTune, or additional retouching and that reasonable credit be given to:
@schofieldssirens
@joshschofieldphoto
"Why can't I edit the photos myself?"
The final images represent both the Client and the Schofield's Sirens brand.
Applying filters, FaceTune, AI enhancements, color grading, or additional retouching can significantly alter the intended look and quality of the final work.
To maintain consistency and artistic integrity, we ask that only the final delivered images be used and that they remain unaltered beyond basic cropping for platform formatting.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes.
Clients may bring one trusted companion for support, subject to studio, venue, or location approval.
Are nude and topless shoots private?
Absolutely.
All nude, topless, implied nude, and artistic nude productions operate under a closed-set policy. Non-essential personnel are asked to leave the shooting area, windows are covered when possible, and unauthorized behind-the-scenes photography or videography is prohibited.
"I'm nervous and have never done a professional shoot before."
You're not alone.
Many of our clients have never stepped in front of a professional camera before.
Our job is to guide you through posing, expression, movement, storytelling, and overall confidence throughout the experience. You do not need prior modelling experience to create incredible images.
Most clients leave saying the experience was far easier and more enjoyable than they expected.
Can I suggest my own shoot ideas?
Absolutely.
The Sirens Program is built around creative collaboration. You may bring mood boards, Pinterest inspiration, character ideas, locations, concepts, and creative goals.
You may also choose to let Schofield's Sirens develop and direct the creative vision for your experience.
How does the editing process work?
Following your shoot, a proof gallery is prepared for image selection.
Once selections have been submitted, each chosen image is individually reviewed and professionally edited. This process includes color correction, lighting refinement, image cleanup, skin retouching, distraction removal, and overall enhancement while maintaining a natural and authentic appearance.
Our editing philosophy is simple:
Enhance, don't erase.
We aim to create polished, magazine-quality imagery while preserving the unique features, personality, and character that make each client who they are.
How long have you been editing and retouching?
Josh Schofield has more than twelve (12) years of professional experience in photography, retouching, production, and visual storytelling.
Throughout that time, thousands of images have been edited across portrait, cosplay, boudoir, fitness, commercial, editorial, artistic nude, and publication-focused projects.
This experience allows Schofield's Sirens to consistently produce polished, publication-ready imagery while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
What makes your edits different?
Our goal is to create images that feel timeless rather than trendy.
Every image receives individual attention rather than relying on automated filters, AI enhancements, or one-click presets. We focus on shaping light, refining color, enhancing mood, and creating images that feel worthy of a magazine cover, publication feature, advertising campaign, or collector print.
We believe great photography starts during production, not behind a computer screen. Careful lighting, posing, styling, and creative direction during the shoot allow us to create stronger final images with natural, professional results.
Can I request retouching changes?
Yes.
Reasonable retouching requests may be submitted during the editing process. Our goal is to ensure clients feel confident and excited about their final images while maintaining the artistic style and quality standards associated with the Schofield's Sirens brand.
Additional revisions beyond the scope of standard retouching may be subject to additional editing fees.
Do I receive the raw files?
No.
Raw files and unedited camera originals are not included in any package and are not available for purchase unless specifically agreed to in writing.
Proof galleries are provided solely for image selection purposes.
Do I have to work exclusively with Schofield's Sirens?
No.
The Sirens Program is completely non-exclusive. We encourage members to continue working with other photographers, creators, brands, agencies, and industry professionals.
Our goal is to help you grow, not limit your opportunities.

The Sirens Program is completely non-exclusive. We encourage members to continue working with other photographers, creators, brands, agencies, and industry professionals.
Our goal is to help you grow, not limit your opportunities.
“THE TIDE”
BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
What are The Tide brand partnership tiers?
The Tide offers three levels of brand participation:
Collaborative Product Partner
Featured Brand Partner
Title Sponsor / Exclusive Category Partner
Each tier is designed for a different level of involvement, from single-event product placement to long-term category exclusivity.
What is a Collaborative Product Partner?
A Collaborative Product Partner is a brand that provides clothing, accessories, merchandise, or products for one approved Tide event.
This tier is ideal for brands that want to test a creative partnership, receive professional content, and have their products featured in a high-production creative environment without committing to a long-term sponsorship.
What does a Collaborative Product Partner receive?
Collaborative Product Partners receive:
Product placement in one Tide event
Thirty (30) final edited images from the event
Two (2) edited social media reels
Brand tagging and credit where applicable
Logo placement in the official event recap video
Approved use of delivered assets for organic social media, website, and promotional use
This tier does not include category exclusivity or extended commercial licensing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
What is a Featured Brand Partner?
A Featured Brand Partner is a brand that is investing beyond product alone and wants a larger presence within The Tide event series.
This tier is designed for brands seeking stronger deliverables, recurring visibility, campaign integration, and a longer-term creative partnership with Schofield's Sirens.
What does a Featured Brand Partner receive?
Featured Brand Partners receive:
Sixty (60) final edited images
Expanded product placement within approved Tide productions
Logo placement on the Schofield's Sirens website during the active partnership term
Brand tagging, credit, and promotional recognition where applicable
Priority consideration for future Tide concepts and sponsored productions
Approved use of delivered assets for organic marketing, website, social media, and promotional purposes
Paid advertising, whitelisting, packaging use, resale use, or third-party licensing may require additional written approval.
Is there a commitment for Featured Brand Partners?
Yes.
Featured Brand Partnerships are intended for brands seeking a longer-term creative relationship and typically require a six (6) to twelve (12) month commitment.
This allows Schofield's Sirens to build stronger campaign continuity, recurring product placement, and more intentional brand integration across future events and productions.
What is a Title Sponsor?
A Title Sponsor is the highest level of brand participation within The Tide Creative Event Series.
This tier is designed for brands seeking premium visibility, long-term creative integration, and exclusive category positioning within the Schofield's Sirens ecosystem.
What does exclusive category sponsorship mean?
Exclusive category sponsorship means the brand may become the official provider for a specific approved category during the active sponsorship term.
Potential categories may include:
Lingerie
Swimwear
Jewelry
Outerwear
Athleticwear
Streetwear
Footwear
Accessories
Beauty or cosmetics
Other approved categories
For example, a lingerie brand may become the exclusive lingerie partner, while Schofield's Sirens may still work with a jewelry brand, swimwear brand, or athleticwear brand in separate categories.
What does a Title Sponsor receive?
Title Sponsors may receive:
Exclusive category recognition
Priority product placement across approved Tide events
Premium logo placement on the Schofield's Sirens website
Logo inclusion in approved recap videos, event promotions, and campaign materials
Priority access to campaign assets and event recaps
First consideration for calendars, publications, merchandise collaborations, and special campaigns
Brand tagging and promotional recognition where applicable
Expanded deliverables and licensing terms outlined in the sponsorship agreement
Final deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity terms, and campaign expectations are confirmed in the sponsorship agreement.
Can brands use the images for advertising?
Organic social media, website, and promotional use may be included depending on the tier.
Paid advertising, boosted posts, whitelisting, packaging use, retail campaigns, resale use, or third-party licensing may require additional written approval, model permissions, and licensing fees.
This protects the models, the Photographer, and the brand by ensuring all usage rights are clear before content is distributed commercially.
Do brand partnerships guarantee sales or engagement?
No.
Schofield's Sirens provides high-quality content, creative production, model casting, product placement, and promotional opportunities, but we do not guarantee sales, followers, impressions, conversions, bookings, or engagement.
The purpose of the partnership is to create strong visual assets and brand visibility within a professionally produced creative environment.
Which tier is right for my brand?
Collaborative Product Partner is best for brands that want to provide products for one event and receive professional content.
Featured Brand Partner is best for brands looking for stronger deliverables, recurring visibility, and a 6 to 12 month creative partnership.
Title Sponsor is best for brands that want premium visibility, category exclusivity, and long-term integration within The Tide and Schofield's Sirens ecosystem.

"I have a large following. Why do I have to pay?"
A large following is certainly valuable, but social reach alone does not offset the costs of producing a professional photography experience.
Every production involves planning, studio or location costs, professional hair and makeup, equipment, editing, content delivery, scheduling, and the time required to create high-quality work. These costs exist regardless of a client's audience size.
Our goal is to provide equal access and opportunity to every client. Rather than prioritizing individuals based solely on follower count, we focus on creating exceptional work for those who are serious about investing in themselves, their brand, and their creative goals.
"I'm an aspiring model looking to build my portfolio. Can I shoot for free?"
We understand that every model starts somewhere.
For individuals looking to build their portfolio, we typically recommend booking a Creative Experience or joining the Muse Membership Program, which was specifically designed to provide ongoing opportunities for portfolio development, networking, creative projects, and model growth.
At this stage of our business, our focus is no longer on building our own portfolio. Our work has already been published, featured, and used to help clients secure covers, partnerships, bookings, and increased earning opportunities.
Because of the production costs involved, complimentary collaborations are extremely limited and generally reserved for specific projects, campaigns, or concepts that align with our current creative objectives.
"How do I get selected for a collaboration shoot?"
Most of our collaborations are initiated by Schofield's Sirens.
When we are developing a specific concept, publication, campaign, event, cosplay, fitness project, or creative series, we often reach out directly to individuals who fit the look, personality, aesthetic, character, or overall vision we are trying to create.
These opportunities are usually highly specific and are selected based on the needs of the project rather than follower count, modelling experience, or popularity.
Because of this, we encourage people not to wait around hoping to be contacted for a collaboration.
The best way to experience working with Schofield's Sirens is to book a Creative Experience, join the Muse Membership, or become part of the Sirens community. Not only will you receive professional content and a premium experience, but you'll also have the opportunity to build a working relationship with our team and become part of future projects and opportunities.
Simply put:
Don't wait for the opportunity. Create it.
The people who invest in themselves today are often the same people we think of first when larger opportunities, publications, campaigns, and creative projects become available tomorrow.
"I never pay for shoots. Why should I pay for one?"
Every creative professional runs their business differently, and there are many talented photographers who offer collaborative or unpaid work.
The question is not whether you can find a free shoot.
The question is whether the final product aligns with your goals.
If your goal is to create content that supports your brand, attracts opportunities, generates income, lands publications, strengthens your portfolio, or elevates your professional image, then investing in quality content can provide long-term value.
Schofield's Sirens maintains a high production standard that includes professional planning, creative direction, experienced retouching, professional hair and makeup, premium equipment, publication-quality editing, and a complete client experience.
We encourage clients to view photography not as an expense, but as an investment in themselves, their personal brand, and their future opportunities.
"Why are your shoots priced differently than other photographers?"
Not all photoshoots are created equally.
Many of our productions include professional hair and makeup, creative development, studio coordination, editing, retouching, image delivery, licensing, production management, and years of experience behind the camera.
Our pricing reflects the complete experience and final quality delivered, not simply the number of hours spent taking photographs.
We are committed to producing work that clients are proud to share, print, publish, and build their brand around.
"Do you offer free collaboration shoots?"
Occasionally, yes.
Schofield's Sirens views every production as an investment of time, expertise, equipment, editing, studio resources, creative planning, and production costs. Even a "free" shoot carries real expenses behind the scenes.
For individuals seeking a complimentary collaboration, we may consider a Referral-Based Collaboration Program.
To qualify, the participant must refer two (2) paying clients or members who successfully book and complete a paid Creative Experience, Muse Membership, Sirens Membership, or other qualifying service.
The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that both parties contribute value to the collaboration. While we appreciate exposure and social media promotion, referrals provide measurable support that helps offset the costs of production and allows us to continue creating opportunities for the community.
Once two qualified referrals have completed their bookings, the participant may become eligible for a complimentary collaborative photoshoot, subject to scheduling availability and project approval.
Please note:
Referrals must be new clients who have not previously booked with Schofield's Sirens.
Referral rewards are not transferable.
Complimentary collaborations are subject to availability and creative direction.
Meeting the referral requirement does not guarantee immediate scheduling.
Our goal is to create partnerships where everyone has some level of investment in the outcome, resulting in stronger collaborations and better creative experiences for everyone involved.
